Our Commitment to Privacy
LearnLog is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your learning data is personal and should stay that way.
Data Storage
All your data stays on your device. LearnLog does not collect, transmit, or store any of your learning entries, quiz responses, or personal information on external servers.
- Your learning entries are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad
- Quiz results and progress data remain on your device
- Streak and usage statistics are calculated locally
- No cloud sync, no external backups (unless you use iCloud backup for your device)
AI Processing
LearnLog uses on-device AI capabilities provided by Apple for generating quiz questions. This processing happens entirely on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks.
- Quiz generation uses Apple's on-device machine learning
- Your learning content is never sent to external AI services
- All AI processing respects Apple's privacy guidelines
Analytics
LearnLog does not include any third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising SDKs. We do not know:
- What you're learning
- How often you use the app
- Your quiz performance
- Any personal information
App Store Data
Apple may collect anonymized usage data as part of the App Store and iOS ecosystem. This is governed by Apple's privacy policy and is outside of LearnLog's control. We do not receive any personally identifiable information from Apple.
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
- Delete the app to remove all LearnLog data
- Use the "Clear All Data" option in Settings to reset while keeping the app
- Individual entries can be deleted from within the app
Children's Privacy
LearnLog does not collect any personal information and is safe for users of all ages. We comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) by design—there is no data collection to regulate.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Our commitment to not collecting your data will not change.
