Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using LearnLog ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Service Description
LearnLog is a learning journal app that helps you retain knowledge through spaced repetition. The App allows you to:
- Log what you learn each day
- Review your learnings through AI-generated quizzes
- Track your learning streaks and progress
- Access your data locally on your device
Subscription Terms
LearnLog offers both free and premium subscription tiers:
- Free tier: Limited to 12 learning entries
- Premium tier: Unlimited learning entries
Premium subscriptions are available as monthly or yearly plans. By subscribing to Premium:
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings
- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to Premium features until your subscription expires. No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your device
- All content you create within the App
- Ensuring your use complies with applicable laws
- Backing up your data (the App stores data locally on your device)
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the rights of others
- Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by LearnLog and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You retain ownership of all content you create within the App. By using the App, you do not grant us any rights to your content, as all data remains on your device.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy or reliability of AI-generated quiz content
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Compatibility with all devices or operating system versions
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LearnLog shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data or content
- Loss of profits or business opportunities
- Device damage or malfunction
- Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App
Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the App after modifications constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
